Dance Projects & Puppeteering:
Dance Reel:
This is a collection of dance & performance pieces I had the fortune to be part of. On the 24th of April 1916, 1,200 volunteers changed the landscape of Irish history forever. On the 24th April 2016, the Allianz Football League Finals was followed by the spectacular show Loachra featuring hundreds of dancers and performers It took place in Croke Park celebrating the Irish Centenary. It was history in the making and the first live performance on the grounds of Croke Park. I puppeteered Sentata the Irish Wolf hound & was a dancer. The show was directed & choreographed by Muirne Bloomer and David Bolger from Cois Ceim. I also had the great honour to work with Muirne Blommer to create a dance piece to launch the Fredrick William Burton Exhibition in the National Gallery of Ireland and most recently I took part in Dúisigh Éire! Awaken Ireland! for the Saint Patricks Festival It was the theme of this year’s festival, a clarion call to the Irish across the world to throw off the long, dark months and rise to embrace the brighter days post-Covid. It was an important show to take part in and was viewed by millions worldwide on SPTV.
